Air Delivered Sensor (AADS) |

The Advanced Air-Delivered
Sensor (AADS) is a program under development by Textron
Systems for the U.S. Marine Corps. AADS employs autonomous
ground sensors to provide accurate data for target identification.
These air-deployable sensor can be delivered via aircraft
to hostile, denied and deep areas. |

Textron Systems continues
to develop a variety of high-power, high-energy solid-state
lasers for the Department of Defense. Many laser designs
are based on our ThinZag™ technology that provides
scalable architectures for high average power levels needed
for Directed Energy Weapons applications. These ThinZag™
lasers have shown exceptional performance with a wide
variety of laser gain materials, including plastic dyes,
Cr:LiSAF, Er:Glass, Nd:YLF, and Nd:YAG in crystalline
and ceramic form. |

Wave Infrared Array (MIRA) |

In service aboard USAF RC-135
Cobra Ball reconnaissance aircraft, MIRA utilizes multi-sensor
and satellite inputs, including long-range visible and
infrared surveillance sensors. Coupled with these multi-sensor
inputs, our own highly sophisticated software and data
processing systems enable Cobra Ball aircraft to successfully
complete worldwide intelligence operations. |

Microwave Landing System (MMLS) |

by our MMLS. Designed for rapid deployment, MMLS is ideal
for providing aircraft landing guidance for military deployment,

| Theatre
Airborne Warning System (TAWS) |

TAWS is a compact system
designed to fit on board Rivet Joint RC-135 aircraft where
space is already severely limited. TAWS can instantly
detect a theatre ballistic missile. Using data fusion
and external inputs, TAWS accurately predicts the impact
point of a theater ballistic missile. |

Terrain Commander is the
world's most advanced covert unattended early-warning
surveillance system, capable of accurately detecting and
identifying a diverse set of intruders, while transmitting
images around-the-clock. A proven networked surveillance
solution, Terrain Commander is ideal for use in a variety
of covert military and homeland security scenarios, including
base security, force protection, surveillance and intelligence
gathering. Unlike other systems, Terrain Commander operates
in remote areas where commercial power is unavailable
